I love record stores.

I LOVE RECORD STORES!!!! I love em. I fucking love them. Truely there is no better feeling than walking into a place and finding an album that you've wanted since you were 13 or 12.

The record store in my town is called Frugal Muse. It sells records,CDs,old video games, magna, anime, books and comics. I discovered this beautiful place a couple of years ago walking around town with my little sister and cousin. I didn't start spending all my time there until last year when my mom started paying me $100 a month for watching my little brother.

I fell in love with this place when I found The Offspring's Smash,Mighty Mighty Bosstones's Don't Know How To Party and Less Than Jake's Hello Rockview. Frugal prices are so cheap that you could buy 5 albums for about 30 bucks. Go to Best Buy and 5 CDs will cost almost $100. What I love the most about Frugal is its a local business.I'm very happy to know that my money of a couple of indie nerds and some giant evil company like Walmart or Target.

Going to the record store every month has helped get into so many different bands.Such as Firehose,I've read about Firehose in Our Band Could Be Your Life but in Januray I was finally able to listen to this amazing band. Now I can say I fucking love this band with all my heart and soul.CDs that I've only dreamed of having like Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation or Rollins Band Weight for $3 or $4.I've also been able to talk with people that have the same interest as I do.I believe every crazy music fan should go to a record store,if you have one in your town,at least once. Not only will discover awesome music, you can find other people that know what good music sounds like.
